My name is Geertrude (I was named after my grandmother, Geertje).

I’m 37 years old. I’m married to a wonderful husband, Theo, and mum of three daughters. The twins, Deborah and Esther, are eightteen years old and our youngest, Miriam, is sixteen (oh my, time flies!).

I’m a writer (my first novel – in dutch- was published in March 2009), a reporter (for our local newspaper, about twice a week I go somewhere and write about it) and a photographer (mainly for the newspaper, but I have done one wedding shoot, which I loved).

I also like to craft (knitting, sewing, crocheting, beading).
