Um, yeah… I just can’t control myself. Maybe I should just avoid visiting thrift shops. But than again, it’s fun and it’s cheap.
So here are my latest findings.
Three really soft sheets. I’m thinking more pyama pants, or quilt backings or baby blankets.
A fun apron. Not vintage I think, but so bright and sunshiny I just couldn’t leave it there (and there is ricrac on it, a rare find in this country), some nice green fabric and lots of that old fashioned red plaid. I think there is about five metres of it!
And last, but definitely not least:
A beautiful tablecloth! It’s very big, I haven’t had time to measure it yet, but I think the white is a normal sized bed sheet. The blue flowers are appliqued on. I’m not sure if it’s handmade, the stitches are perfect and tiny, but it doesn’t look machine made either. The little stems of the flowers are embroidered on. Anyhow, I love it!
Oh well, not a bad catch for 12 euro (for the whole lot), isn’t it?
